The Gut

It's awkward having your physical defects pointed out.

This morning, at the library, one of my co-workers asked, "What's the belly from?" Kind of shocked that that was a real question, I said, "It's runs in my family". He then went on to say, "I was just curious because not many people have them here". Then pointing to his own flat stomach he says, "most people have flat stomachs". All I could really say was that most people here run for fun, but I don't do that. I'm just fat.
